In early March, Sam Barnett (Owner of Barlow's Premium Cigars & Pipes) in Lafayette, Colorado, saw our 2015 goals.. After reading the goals he contacted our founder, Jimmy Lakey, and said he wanted to be a part. Within several days, Sam was hosting a fundraising event at his cigar shop. The event featured the involvement of other businesses/vendors in the area, a charity poker tournament, and lots of cigars. The event raised funds to build 4 houses and added 7 new child sponsors. We are grateful for the generosity of Sam Barnett & Barlow's Cigars. We look forward to future events and leading an upcoming trip to Rwanda for many of the attendees at the event.
