NEW: CHILD SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM
In addition to our general donation tracks that allow you to “Send An Orphan To School” and “Buy A Bed”, River’s Promise is excited to expand our giving opportunities to allow for “sponsorship” of an individual orphan in Rwanda. By sponsoring a specific child, you will have the opportunity to correspond, watch their development, & even visit the child in Africa.
In addition to the financial support, sponsors are encouraged to communicate with their children and (if possible) visit them. This will establish a lasting relationship that goes far beyond simply meeting physical needs. This relationship will encourage the orphan and immeasurably grow their confidence and self-worth. For just $35 per month, your sponsorship through River’s Promise will provide the following:
* Education (Sponsored children attend school as their school fees, school supplies, textbooks, & uniforms are provided.)
* Health care (Sponsored children are educated about hygiene and general health and have access to Doctor and medicines when sick)
* Social development (Sponsored children have access to sports, music, & native dancing. Children with special emotional needs can receive counseling)
* Spiritual development (Children receive a Bible and are taught to live a life of hope & happiness through a relationship with Jesus Christ.)
