THE CHILDREN SAY THANK YOU
It is always great to hear directly from the orphans that we are helping through River’s Promise. Here are some excerpts from several handwritten thank you letters that we received from orphans who we have helped with school fees & bedding. The heartfelt gratitude expressed by these children speaks for itself. While space will not allow us to print all of the letters, below are some excerpts:
“Dear Parents: I’m so happy to write you and say thank you so much for your support to orphans. The materials that you send us help us to sleep in good condition. Let Almighty God multiply your income and we pray that God continue to help you” – Jeanine Kuzoryimana (Age 13)
“We thank you so much for your support to us. we receive from you beds, mattress, sheets, mosquito net, & bed cover. We are many orphans. We welcome you into our country. Let me say I thank you once again for choosing me among other children to be my parent.” – Ramadhany Byamungu
“I’m Moise, I’m 7 years old. It is just saying thank you for your support to us. We received mattress, bed, bed sheet, mosquito net, NOW WE ARE OK. I say thanks.” – Moise (Age 7)
“When I am cold, I thank you even more for your support to our home with many things like mattress, bed, bed sheets, bed cover, an mosquito net. Now we sleep in good conditions and we will continue to pray for you. – Nadine (Age 10)
“I and orphans really thank you for what you have done for us despite financial crisis you are facing now. You never forgot us because you gave us beds, mattress, sheets, blankets, mosquito nets, school fees, etc. We don’t have words to thanks you and there is nothing we can give you in return but the almighty God will reward you because we pray for that. We continue to pray that kids get school fees for the second and third terms even food because it’s really a big problem for me.” Director of PEFA Orphanage | Kigali, Rwanda
